These terms govern the services provided by Armstrong Roofing & Building Limited (Company No. 17398817). By requesting a quote or engaging our services you agree to these terms.
Quotations
Quotes are free and provided without obligation. A quotation is an estimate based on the information available and does not form a binding contract until the work and a fixed price have been confirmed in writing and accepted by you. Quotes are valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise.
The work
We carry out all work to current UK building standards and good trade practice. If additional work or materials are found to be necessary once work has started (for example hidden damage), we will discuss this and agree any change in price with you before proceeding.
Insurance
Armstrong Roofing & Building Limited holds £2 million Public Liability Insurance and up to £50,000 contract works cover. Evidence of cover is available on request.
Payment
Payment terms are agreed in writing before work begins. Unless otherwise stated, payment is due on completion of the work. We will provide a clear invoice for all work carried out.
Guarantee
Re-roofs and major works are backed by a workmanship guarantee, the exact terms of which are confirmed in writing with your quote. Manufacturer guarantees on materials are passed on to you where applicable.
Liability
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the value of the work carried out, save where our insurance provides greater cover.
Cancellation
Where you are a consumer, you have a statutory right to cancel within 14 days of agreeing to the work, unless you have asked us to begin sooner and the work has started. Please contact us as early as possible to cancel or rearrange.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of its courts.
